So cute!! Which level did you sign up for on the Teacher pay Teachers? I'd love to know and start uploading lessons too!
We must be on the same page. We're startin ai/ay tomorrow, nouns/verbs, and my student teacher is starting her unit on weather tomorrow! Thanks so much!
i love this activity! are you using the houghton mifflin reading program? it looks like you are because those are the things we are covering too!
great idea!
We are also doing /ay/ and /ai/ this week!! However our Comprehension skill is Making Predictions. I guess I'll have to get over to TPT and check it out!!! I love both books.
Cute ideas! I love your writing activity! I love using a variety of literature when I'm teaching.

I saw in a previous post you use Treasures. My district is implementing it next year. Any pointers you can give me? 🙂 my email is midmidlifecrisis@gmail.com
Very cute ideas!! I have both books but I would have never thought to use the books together.

Hey Abby,
I love your ADORABLE Valentine's Day ideas. I included a link to some cute bulletin board ideas that match The Day It Rained Hearts.
I bought your mini unit this morning before school started! I can't wait to use it next week. It is going to go perfectly with what we are already doing. THANKS!!
I used this unit and the kids did such a great job! Their writing samples were just so great, especially those who wrote about wanting meatballs to rain from the sky 🙂 Thanks!
